Shredding at Your Reno Location
We will send a secure mobile shredding truck to you to dodata destruction, paper shredding, hard drive destruction, or document destruction in your presence.
We’ll provide a certificate of destruction at the completion of the service. This serves as verification that you had all your material securely destroyed.
We will then transport the destroyed information back to our facility to have it bailed and shipped directly to a paper mill for recycling.
American Shredding also provides on-site shredding services that comply with NIST 800-88 standards (1mm x 5 mm particle size), the smallest particle size produced in the shredding industry.
To find out how your company can benefit from NIST 800-88 standards, please contact an American Shredding representative.
Shredding at Our Reno Facility
Our off-site shredding service is a secure, convenient, and reliable way to safely dispose of your companies’ confidential documents and data. We collect the confidential material and lock it inside our secure transport vehicle. We transport the material back to our facility for destruction. All of our trucks are equipped with a real-time satellite GPS system and are tracked from the time of pick up until they arrive safely back at our facility.
We destroy all documents and digital media entrusted to American Shredding within 24 hours of arrival at our facility, and everything that arrives before 3pm is shredded that same day. We then fax a certificate of destruction to you as verification of the service being complete and for compliance with state and federal regulations.
All employees are drug tested on an annual basis. All employees are screened for a clean background. All service representatives are bonded and insured.
All activity in our facility is recorded and saved for 100 days.
Whether shredding at your facility or ours, we are in control of your confidential information from the time we pick it up until the time it is made into a new product. Unlike most companies, American Shredding has its own facility for shredding and baling your material, and we do not shop it out to third parties for destruction. We take your material directly to a papermill and avoid non-secure third parties from handling your material.
There are advantages and disadvantages to on-site and off-site shredding. We offer both to provide the best solution for your needs. We are happy to explain the pros and cons of each service so you can decide which is best. Both services are secure and comply with state and federal regulations. Call us to learn more.
